·         Copy about any important ‘news flash’ or promo information

Within the copy the user will be invited to click to see:

Map; other events; hotels (most important link within this bit of copy*); travel; etc.

I'd like to flag up that the hotels link to the external hotels site is the most important one, so it might be useful to make a note of that on the click-through - ie. it should sit prominently apart from the main body copy, ideally as a button to click on rather than a hyper-link.

 

The design of this page will include a slideshow of company images.

 

MINIMUM SPECIFICATION COPY: 50-75 words

If possible: With regards to the minimum spec information, would it be possible to have it appear as a pop-up on the first visit and then not on subsequent visits?:

·         Copy about minimum spec and links to the downloads for: Internet Explorer / Adobe Acrobat Reader

·         Minimum spec is: Internet Explorer 6.0 and Netscape, Adobe Acrobat Reader, Cookies activated.

·         There will be an option to email a British Council representation as a ‘last resort’ if the delegate is unable to use the site.

 

General technical info:

·         The site will be built using: html, java, php/asp.

·         The site will not use flash, shockwave etc.

·         The site will have its own URL and be independent of the British Council CMS

 

Before the launch:

·         The British Council will send an email out to advise about best practice for booking on behalf of delegates (regarding cookies etc)
